OK, I may have missed something along the way because
I came home to over 350 posts and several topic changes.
On the D, in Manual Mode, with a K lens manually set to
my preferred aperture:
As Paul (?) stated I point at a mid-tone object, hit
the Green Button and shoot away until I decide the light
has changed, or I want a different exposure.
This is my usual metering mode, I even set the aperture
manually on KA and KAF lenses frequently to use this
mode.
The exposure _indicator_ changes as I recompose but the
_exposure_ itself is fixed until I change it by hitting
the Green Button again.
I wouldn't want it any other way, perhaps this is why
the Green Button doesn't bother me at all, as a matter
of fact I'm glad it's this way.
Is the DS/Dl/DS2 different in this regard, other than
using a different button?
