Do please take a leaf out of your own book and read other people's posts
before commenting on them.
I said supply is irrelevant IF there is no demand. This is a general
observation. I did not say that there was no demand whatsoever for this
particular type of lens; the point was that demand is more important than
supply, and that rarity doesn't determine price. Demand does.

Bottom line is that price changes in
no longer produced lenses like this
is directly related to current demand.
Rare or common has no effect on price....
There is one other factor, inflation,
which isnt really a change in value
over time, just a change in the currency's
value used to buy them...

One was on Ebay UK recently. It failed to attract any bids, although the
