What Rod said. Buffer size and write speed are the biggest limitations.

I know exactly what both me and my equipment are capable of. Basically I'd simply rather be engaged in fluid shooting than in tedious work-arounds due poor equipment performance. Buffer depth and writing speed is my current #1 issue with my *ist D, it's caused me far more lost opportunities and failed
shots than any other limitation.
