WOW. I don't know art. but I know I like this. If you hadn't given it away with the title, it would have taken me awhile to figure this one out. ;-)
The fingers, hands & arms look like the distorted branches of gnarled & weather beaten tree. I know that's not a particularly gracious comment, but the way the hands are posed draws me in trying to figure out what exactly is going on. I also love the way the lighting highlights the back muscles. BTW, I was watching a bit of a ballet performance on TV today, and the thing I am always drawn to & find fascinating about dancers is their grace coupled with physical strength. A strong & intriguing shot. Very nicely done sir.
