Hi Jens,
Unfortunately I'm pretty sure there is a problem with the
camera. It does fire at full power (not just too much, as when
you use old units like the AF400 FTZ and the subject is too
close) whenever the aperture is set manually, either with old
lenses or FA lenses. And it is the same with both the rtf and
the external unit. My guess is that there is something wrong
with the flash TTL sensor (the one on the left side of the box)
or the circuitry related, because the P-TTL works normally.
Since the P-TTL does fire with the mirror down to calculate the
exposure, I guess that it is controlled by the multi-segment
metering (something like in recent Canon cameras).
The body is indeed going to Firenze as soon as I receive the
other one...
