I have zippo experience with Minolta cameras. I know that if Pentax had
come out with something like the 7D...
Just a side thought... drinking whiskey and watching Broncos vs. Chiefs...
Would it be THAT hard to build a camera with an upgradeable sensor and fully
flash upgradeable software? Even if one had to send the body back to the
manufacturer?
Probably doesn't produce the potential margin corporations are looking for.

Minolta has had an influx of capitol from Konica. OTOH, my brother had
Minolta MF equipment and was an early adopter of Minolta AF gear, he
switched to Canon.

However, my gut tells me that Pentax Imaging doesn't give a r**s a*s about
what I want or what those prima donnas on the PDML want.
They expect or feel us die hards with an investment in Pentax gear won't
desert them because we don't want to sacrifice our investment and start
building a new system. With all due respect to everyone of every income
level on the list, we might not all care about that.
Really, I'm not sure retaining an existing customer base is top of their
mindset.
Even Minolta, which was what, a year or more behind Pentax in releasing a
DSLR seems to be out-classing Pentax (don't know much about their lenses).

Besides, I don't want to be as lazy as Mr. Robb and expect you to type it
in for me. ;)

I was thinking that the "Free Form" style would be more
personal and perhaps more impressive to whoever reads it.
I've designed the spreadsheet to preserve the free form
style rather than just columns of data.
If a few hundred people take the time to type the same
thing over and over it should get the point across
better than just stating that 250 out of 300 people
surveyed want IS. At least it would to me.
And it really doesn't take long to fill out. ;-)
