Yeah - I've got a print made from a B&W neg that was shot through #29 Red filter, which rendered the face a bone white color blown up to 16x20. Very scary ... I think I'm going to reshoot this with a very slow film - APX 25 or Efke 25, through the same filter, using a few of my sharpest "portrait" lenses and choose the best rendition. Last time I used Delta 100, which, while OK, has not really satisfied me. 16x20 seems to be a a nice size for it, but if it holds together as well as I hope it will, I may go larger. I don't think the digi's got what it takes for so large a print. I might also try it with the Yashicamat, also on Efke or that Ilford Pan F (50 speed).
