I haven't seen a K1000 manual around, but there's a KM manual online at:
http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/instructionmanuals.html
The KM and K1000 are nearly identical (the only differences are the
DOF preview and timer, present on the KM but not K1000, if I remember
correctly), so that one should be close enough if you ignore the
irrelevant parts.
