    Get the 24mm anyway - it's the "perfect wideangle" focal
    length and the extra size is well worth adapting to. Heck,
    everything under a 300mm for 35mm is a "small lens".

lol ... I rarely use much longer than a 135mm lens. And I'm only shooting with the digital bodies. :-)

The FA*24/2 is huge, weighs a bunch; not my cup of tea.

Also, I've heard many reports that its quality with the D/DS bodies is suspect, with CA and unsharpness wide open being a problem point. No thanks.
