I do not think the profitability of a given facility has much to do with
Kodaks decision to close it. Personally I think Kodak is being raided.

Kodak is seeing it's traditional market being eroded by leaps and bounds.
A 35% loss in print sales is a pretty large number, if my lab is typical of
consumer photofinishing..
They have been scaling back their wholesale labs over the past few years,
and this trend is likely to continue into the forseeable future.
