I have a blower brush. When I need to clean the sensor, I take the brush portion off the blower, and just give a few strong squirts of air in the direction of the sensor. So far I've never needed more thorough cleaning than that.
I'm afraid to use those sensor cleaning kits. If I can remove it with air, that seems the safest technique.
