The DS sits just right for my vision with glasses.
Having to move my eye around (and the split finder which did not
work with my long lenses) was the biggest of a few reasons I never
fell for these cameras. The VF is too big.
It reminds me a lot of my Nikon FM bodies: same slightly-short eye
relief. I changed out the split prism for a matte screen, so that's
not a problem.
