I've read many reports that Velvia 50 will be discontinued, enough, and in
such venues that it's believable. Velvia 100 (not Velvia 100F) is the
"replacement" although, if you like the saturation and the slow speed of
Velvia, you might try to get some Fuji Fortia 50. It's supposed to be
quite saturated, although I can't speak for its grain. It's been stated
that it was produced in a limited quantity, only one or two batches, but it
may be worth looking into.

I've used the Agfa SX II 50, and while I liked it quite a bit (never cared
for Velvia), it ain't Velvia. Still, IMO, it's a fine film, but I don't
see it as a replacement - perhaps as an alternative.

heard that Fuji is discontinuing Velvia 50. Hence, I have the following

Velvia 50 freezer stock runs out and I am unable to purchase anymore. I
have had some success with Agfa before, but the Velvia seemed at least
marginally better. On the other hand, I have heard that pulling Velvia 100
causes some color distortions. Any thoughts?
