With Manual Exposure mode, the metering range bottoms out somewhere
around 2 seconds IIRC. I'm not sure why you're getting a problem at
1/10 second.
I'm checking to make sure that my flash (AF 500FTZ) will be
compatible in
TTL in this mode.
It should be fully compatible with manual exposure mode. TTL flash
metering with a dedicated external flash unit is supposed to work
well; I don't have one yet to test that out, though.
