Hi,
The latest issue of Pop. Photography has an article about shooting photos
using the built-in flash on SLR's. Of concern is what happens to the light
from the flash when using it with different types of lenses. The article
listed Canon, Minolta, and two Nikons and recommendations as to whether to
use the built-in or to attach an external flash.
Pentax wasn't on the list.
So, what caveats do any of you have using built-in flash with any Pentax
lenses. Besides several SMC Takumars, I have three AF Pentax F-lenses, a
50, a 35-70 zoom, and the 70-210 Takumar. I can see where an external flash
would be recommended for the long zoom. I'm not sure about whether to
leave a hood on the other two lenses when shooting with the built-in flash.
What are your experiences?
Jim A.
