Hi! So, I didn't managed to get my camera on the previous trip (in Germany). Fortunately I'll go back there in few days. I'll go by train and stop for a while in Wien/Vienna. I'm thinking of buying the *istDS from Munich, at MediaMarkt it currently costs about 640 euro (see www.mediaonline.de). Do you have other suggestions? (I'd like to buy it from a store and not order online, so I'll be able to (partially?) recover the VAT). Uh, service is an issue, we have a Pentax-authorized service in Romania (not a Pentax service) but I'm quite sure they won't accept an international warranty card. Am I right to believe that dealing directly with a (true) Pentax service would be the best way?
Of course, I could also buy the *istDS2 from bhphotovideo; it would be slightly more expensive and I'll have to wait another month; I'm not sure it worth. Have a nice day. -- Best regards, Alex Sarbu
