Hi Dave, Thanks for putting the effort in to generate this document. Looking at the sample images I really do tend to prefer the state the NI leave the background in. I find the horizontal noise in the PS image to be quite distracting. Have you tried the NoiseNinja PS plugin? It's quite nice (though the demo version overlays a grey matrix), I think its control lay-out is improved over NI.
