I just learned a new word: muustache distrortion :-)
Thanks for the word and for mentioning PTLens, Rob. I must definitely try
this. I often get distorted images after perspective corrections. I may try
using PTLens for this, if possible?


Thands for posting this Derby. Nice work. BTW: I'd love to see the same
thing done with a APS-sized digital, such as the *ist D or DS?

It is a great lens and it works quite well on the DSLRs too, my only
criticism
is that its inherent geometric distortion ("moustache" barrel in the centre
tending to pin-cushion towards the edges) can make architectural shots look
pretty wonky (technical term). Fortunately when digitized the distortion can
be
virtually negated using a re-mapping tool such as PTLens.
