Before I spend a good bit of money, how much better is
the K105/2.8 than the M100/2.8?
I'm most interested in bokeh and wide open performance.
The size doesn't matter. ;-)
I never used an M 100/2.8 - sorry. I did once own a K 105/2.8, but put it
on eBay after a week or two. http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/k105f28/

That must be a different formula from the S-M-C Takumar 105mm f/2.8.
Doug Brewer calls the S-M-C version "a jewel" and it has great bokeh.
This lens has great resolution at f/5.6 and 8.0.
I wouldn't give mine up...
Perhaps there was something wrong with your K version, or the formula is
indeed different.
Just some thoughts as to why they perform differently.
