Why would one use a 50mm macro lens at infinity? Almost everyone has a fast fifty for non-macro work.

The problem with the 50/4 is that it is not great at infinity, unlike newer, FREE macros.

Tim, why buy the F from an auction when KEH has FAs for less? Perhaps customs, is my guess.
