I have one. I've very happy with it on digital, I wasn't very happy with it on film. It's maximum focal length is closer to 180 or 190mm. I haven't shot with it on film for some time but on the *ist-d I find it to be a bit soft wide open at all focal lengths, but very sharp stopped down one or two stops from maximum.

I think it's very under rated, on digital.

Hey Folks,

I'm thinking of getting this autofocus zoom for my wife. She's not hugely
picky about image quality, and this looks like it might be a good general
lense for around the neighborhood? KEH has one for a bit under $200,
excellent plus. Any comments on it? She'd be using it on both a ZX-5n and
eventually a *istDS.
