Howdy, gang! On September 14th I ventured to Antietam National Battlefield to take a few photos. Armed with a guide pinpointing Alexander Gardner's camera locations, the MX, and my cherished M50/1.7, I chose eight positions near the driving tour route. Over a period of about four hours I shot one roll of film. The gallery contains one shot from each location.
http://twosixteen.com/gallery/index.php?list=22 I've tried my best to frame the shots as close as possible to the original photographs. HP5+, all frames at f22, processed in Ilfosol S 1+9. For those of you not familiar with Antietam or Alexander Gardner, this link may prove interesting: http://www.nps.gov/anti/gallery.htm As a precaution, Mr. Gardner's photographs of Antietam are fairly graphic and many of them include those who fell during the battle. -- Scott Loveless http://www.twosixteen.com -- "You have to hold the button down" -Arnold Newman
