Hi George,
 If the meter and shutter speeds seem OK, it probably just needs a foam
job (light seals and mirror foam). Check the foam where the mirror rests
in the "up" position, pull it lightly with a pair of tweezers, if it springs
back it should be fine, if it crumbles, it needs to be replaced. Check
the seal on the camera back, is it in good shape? Does the camera
take well exposed pictures? 
 I use a repairman in the L.A. area called "Dean`s Camera Repair" who
does nice work, if you`re interested.
