Jerome,
I have some bad news for you. It won't work with photographing
aquariums. This was my plan when I bought my MZ-S. Unfortunately part
of the sequence of taking the picture (even with the RTF set to control
mode) is a brief flash to align the output from the remote flashes.
I settled on a two flash setup with one flash connected via a 5P cable
and the other triggered remotely via the first. It works well, but I
would have liked to be able to trigger it all from the RTF.
Someone else suggested going at an angle to the glass. This does work
but with the thickness of glass at the big aquariums the image starts to
distort very quickly the more you deviate from right angle to the glass

Done! I didn't realize I could do that, but there it is in B&W (page 96 of
the camera manual).... Thanks again! I'll see how that works. I'm headed
to an aquarium, and my goal is to minimize fireballs and glare from the
flash on the fishtanks. Being able to fire the FGZ from an angled seemed
pointless (at least in theory) if the OTF flash still went off... but
maybe this'll cure that. I think I'll pack the 500 FTZ and extension cord
just in case, though.
Thanks again!
