Hi,

nice job. Few design issues (some of which might be just because of the
importing of the old database) and advice:

The most fundamental fault of many photo galleries are the
next/previous links. To be ergonomic, these must _always_ be in the
same position, regardless the size or orientation of the image. That's
Human Interfaces Elementary School ;-) Otherwise, most viewers get
bored too quickly to browse the whole gallery if they don't have an
option for quickly skipping unwanted photos. I would suggest putting
them on the top, in such a position that they stay at the same spot
even with a short or too long photo title. Another suggestion would be
to either rearrange or make the title/author lines smaller. The way it
is now, they take too much screen space so many photos do not fit on
the entire screen, with viewers having to scroll. That's unacceptable
for photographs. BTW, I am viewing it in Firefox, 1024pix screen and
"miniaturised" Firefox theme, in Internet Exploder or default themed
Firefox it would require even more scrolling because these have much
less screen space left for the actual page (because of their larger
buttons and toolbars, the arrangement and theme I am using wastest
only 60 pixels for the menus and buttons at the top)

I would suggest dropping the "by" in the title/author, it's much
redundant, wastes a whole line and is in italics which is little
distracting (too many font styles - big bold, plain italics, smaller
bold). Have the title and author (contry) on one or at most two lines,
in smaller type possibly.

Drop the yellow colour of some of the webpage -PUG Gallery - image
view. Yellow and red are too much colours. If you need some other
colour than gray, just use one for a subtle effect, the dark red
(colour of Pentax logo, BTW) works fine but yellow is too much
(visually distracting from the photographs).

These are obviously suggestions, from my point of view. YMMV, of
course :)
