Well, Rick Womer and I were both in Rochester, NY this weekend but we entirely failed to meet up. Lisa wanted to get back home much sooner than I'd anticipated and Rick isn't like my running buddies who like to put in 6 or 7 miles before the sun is up so we couldn't meet. There are rumors of something going on in Chicago in the spring but I haven't asked my staff pathologist for details...
I also didn't get to meet with my Kodak sensor engineer friend. He was probably running a big adventure race (14 miles across hideous terrain) on Sunday. One of my other Kodak friends was at the Sunday morning run and he told me there's another round of layoffs happening. Thursday. He'll find out if he still has a job or not then. I didn't get to do any photography either, except for some unremarkable snaps at the race (10 miles) I ran Saturday morning. On the bright side, Lisa and I did get out to see "Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit" on Saturday afternoon. Very highly recommended! I give it 10 paws! -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
