Every time you hit it, it fires. That ameliorates the #1 annoyance/frustration of AF cameras for me, which is that sometimes the camera will decide that it's not focussed to its satisfaction and will not fire when you want it to. This drives me crazy. In fact, just the _possibility_ of this happening drives me crazy. The contax G2 drove me crazy. My experience with Pentax is that this happens with certain lenses, rather than being a body thing. In particular, the F70-210 SMC is guilty of not being able to make up its mind when to let the shutter fire. Maybe it's a faulty lens? I don't know, but it stays in the cubard. If anybody else has had similar experiences I would appreciate knowing if or what you ended up doing with the lens.
