In case anyone is interested it ain't a
seedling. It has bark and leaf scars.
Probably two years old -- maybe more.

This was shot handheld at f/2.8 and I'm surprised I managed to keep

Hmm. Background OOF rendering leaves a bit to be desired. It would have
been less distracting if the front edge of the seedling leaves was in
focus.
