The AV material they use now for public intro to the refuge is excellent, a first class slide show containing many images from known photographers such as Carl Sams and his wife. See it if you haven't already. Planck can only enhance it.
I bought a bicycle a few years ago specifically for traveling some of the back roads in that refuge. At nearly 100,000 acres, it's supposed to be the largest refuge east of the Mississippi. This is the first year in many that I could not get away to go up there for a week or so. I need a better job...
