There were plenty problems with new models from both Nikon or Canon (dunno about Pentax <g>), and the companies seem to use users as free betatesters. Both D70, 20D, D2H, 1DsII - that is from professional to consumer models, had enough problems at the start. It just comes from the race to be the first with the most megapixels camera to the market, neglecting proper testing first. I have heard from several people who will wait few months before getting a 5D, just to be sure. Fra
