A photographer I worked with once had spent a few years in his youth working
for an old veteran news photographer. The old man did _everything_ with 4x5
film. Even copy work. If he went to cover a news event, he would take his
crusty old Speed Graphic and SIX SHEETS of film to cover the entire event.
He'd always come back with six well-made, highly usable shots. According to
my friend, this old fellow used to rant and rail against the know-nothing,
weak-willed, unskilled "filmstrip photographers" who used 35mm cameras. He
thought it was cheating--that the best days of photography were ending. That
"real" photography was going to go all to hell.

Some things never change, I guess.
