Not every country that claims to have a constitution is a republic, some 
are monarchys.  England comes to mind, they have an "un-written 
constitution".

OK. With apologies for sending this thread along yet another OT 
tangent, you have piqued my curiosity. What country without a written 
constitution claims to be a constitutional republic? Llike I said, I'm 
just curious, you're quite welcome to email me directly if you wish 
(seeing as it is an OT tangent.)
