I visited Wales several years ago. As you cross the English border and go deeper into Wales, fewer and fewer signs are bilingual. I parked one time next to a sign that was obviously saying not to do something (diagonal slash line across sign), but I never did find out what it was that I was being instructed not to do.
One of my fondest memories is a day spent photographing at Portmeirion, the place where the old TV series The Prisoner was filmed.
