Hi Luben,

There's something I don't understand.  You mention 3600ppi color scans
yield a file of about 25mb for preview and web.  That seems very small. 
You should have a file a lot closer to 100mb.  Then you ask about scanning
B&W negatives.  Even those should be more than 25mb with a 16bit scan.  So,
lets first start with what it is you're scanning and what scanner you're
using for your quality work.

The Epson is a terrible scanner for 35mm negs, especially if you want ant
decent quality.
