There were no signs that this fact would change. CD's needed to be manufactured at incredibly expensive high-tech factories. Technology usually fix the yield rate problem and nowadays CD's can even be burned at home. And almost every obscure recording have been released on CD. Even those who sold less than a 100 copies originally on LP proving the expert wrong. This just to show how dangerous it is to use the present situation as a guide to the future when it comes to technology. Pål
