i said more resolution with a lens that was just adequate at 6MP will not
buy you anything. who has tested a DA lens with a higher resolution sensor?
it is exactly the same as using a higher resolution film on a film body. if
it weren't true, then using super resolution film would make a lousy lens
resolve a lot better.

I don't know if this is correct, but I think of a higher resolution sensor
in much the same was as a finer grained film.
Not necessarily at the camera end, but at the enlargability end.
I could be wrong though.
