Uh huh. Now I get it!  ;-)

In the lexicon of "newbie", I simply used "noob" as a shorthand phonetic equivalent. I first ran into the term "newbie" in the context of motorcycling ... a contraction of "new biker". Nothing perjorative or disparaging intended.
