This is the ***built-in*** flash. It doesn't have a separate manual. I would like to see Pentax try and rip it off the camera to put it in a separate box with separate manual. > Close focussing really limits depth of field, no > matter what > aperture you are using. Thankyou, I didn't realise that. I guess because I don't usually write down specs for each photo. Usually the macro work I do doesn't really require much DOF anyway. If I go for more DOF, often the subject will become indistinct in it's foliage, or whatever. I realise that last sentence is not good English, but I'm tired. > a shutter speed causing a problem, but the average > punter has a > real problem grasping the concept of depth of filed > being tied > to the size of the aperture and the reproduction > ratio. I am not the average punter. I understand the relationship between aperture size and DOF. I just didn't understand the difference focal length or focussing distance makes. Maybe I should play with my Spotmatic more, without the meter. > Here is an idea for a PUG theme. Why don't we do a > disposable > camera themed gallery. No-one is stopping you. Jody. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
