Bruce, sorry I am late.
I tried to look at your gallery once but somehow the net was too slow. I
even started to write a comment but I couldn't finish it because of that
net *darn*.
Anyway.
I think it is rather nice gallery. I was in SF area back in 2000 and you
managed to bring back some of the memories of the trip. As for the
quality of individual images - like you said - it was rather unknown
ground for you and you did really well. I think I might approach some of
the shots you shown differently, but that wouldn't count.
Well done... Now I will have to invite Shel to Israel, drive him to the
midst of Negev and force him to do some landscape photography ;-) <- joking.
