Thanks, Jens.  Flash is something I don't like using very much. 
Basically, I'm looking for the shoe mount equivalent of a pop-up
flash.  Just because of the price points, I'm leaning heavily toward
the Pentax, but your suggestion is certainly something to consider. 
I'll keep an eye on eeekbay for a couple days.
