I never sharpen an image for the web after resizing it. I feel the look I get if I do so is too artificially sharp. What I do is resize in steps, sharpening just before each resize. I have a PS action to do this, it goes to 1500 pixels on the side, sharpens, resizes to 900 pixels, sharpens, and finally resizes to 600 pixels, which is the size I use in my photoblog.
If the image is color, I do the sharpening in lab color mode, only on the intensity channel. j On 10/24/05, Shel Belinkoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I work on my photos in PS using 16-bit.
