I agree. There was the story in the news a few months ago about the boy on a scouting trip who got lost for a few days. Apparently in that time he heard searchers looking for him but hid, not knowing if they were good guys or bad. I am concerned as to what kind of society we will have in another 50 years. Will a generation brought up on distrust of others be willing to deal with the issues surrounding an ever shrinking global society? Will the progress made in human rights be lost as we align ourselves into small groups of similar people?

Questions to be asked.

That kid was a STUMP! How old was he? Elementary school age... 4-6th grade. Good grief, 1st he should not have kept wandering for hours. His family was involved with Scouting... #1 rule when you're lost is to stay where you are. 2nd, yeah right, he's lost and scared for at least overnight, hears someone calling HIS name in the wilderness, and DOESN'T KNOW if he should answer?

Something doesn't add up. It may be the kid's IQ, but there was all kinds of holes in that story.
