Thumbs up from me. I love the colours and the DOF is perfect. The textures are amazing. Normally I dislike the use of flash in macro but you've done it very well.
The default size of my web browser window actually cropped a little off the right (just at the edge of the pod on the right) which was just enough to get rid of the triangular white area at top right. I think it's better off without the distraction, as others have mentioned.
A book I just read mentioned that the best photos tend to be the ones where photography is being used as a tool to show something that interests the photographer, and I think you just proved it right.
