I am a novice and was subscribed to PDML for a few months couple of years back when I first started taking pictures. But I never really did take many. I recently moved to the US and find myself with more time and inclination to take pictures so I signed up again.

a) I feel embarrassed/shy of going out and taking pictures all by myself. Am I the only one who feels this? Recently Paul S. mentioned this in relation to the picture taken in Starbucks.
No, you're not the only one. But with taking more pictures this shyness will dissolve... That's what happened to me anyway.
c) I am looking for company to get some tips, pointers and help me improve my composition lot more than just the technical details.
I cannot present you with actual company, but I can assure you - you're in the right place... Just keep posting PESOs (Pictures Every So Often) and you'll fill at home!
