Gaurav,I am using the Scanner program on XP SP2 with no problem. You will need to go to the HP web site and pull down both the driver and the scanning program for XP but they work well and are improvments over teh originals.
Also go look at VueScan at www.hamrick.com. A great scanning tool that works with a number of scanners.
