Designing their own, Sony fabs the LBCAST sensors for Nikon. And LBCAST hasn't exactly been a success, it's noisier than CCD, and lower resolution as well (4MP). Very fast sensor though, enough for 8fps, but the CMOS sensor on the D2x can match the speed at higher resolution in High Speed Crop mode ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
