Thanks. The tokina was a replacement for the Sigma 28-80 that came with
my old MZ-M - that lens got dropped, and was never the same afterwards
(not that it was much good to start with). I'm quite happy with the
Tokina, especially considering it was under AU$100...!
I used autofocus for this, which might explain the focus situation. The
only gripe with the Tokina is the abysmally small focus ring - I usually
have to use the lens hood for a focus ring.
