Hello Shel, Part of the obligation depends on the relationship. If you wish to maintain the relationship, then you should probably comply with her requests. When I am confronted with a situation like that, I do try to probe as to what the objection is. Sometimes we can take a few shots to rectify the objection. Sometimes not.
Then there is the legal side which may ignore what you two will end up like.
