Walking in a park I spotted this branch fallen in a pond.

Attila, I couldn't resist and of course clicked on the "next" link... I
liked the cropped version much more. The cropped one make it almost as
if no human intervention was involved here. Seeing the buildings on the
background of the uncropped version makes me think that this branch was
actually cut and deliberately placed in the pond this way.
Like I said - the cropped version works much better for me.
P.S. Did you try to make a vertical shot *along* the direction of the
branch?
