my prints have some details visible in most of the dark areas. i see only
one small completely dark area in each image. it was intentional as i like
the black as an area of contrast. i still have the pile of leaves and can go
look for some more tomorrow.

Did you intentionally let the two black leafless areas remain? There
being one on both sides helps, but I 'think" I'd prefer it be
completely filled with fall leaf colors.
Would make a nice very-enlargement.
